A rough first half cost the Indianapolis Colts a chance to come back against the Denver Broncos, getting the 31-24 loss and moving to 0-1 to start the 2014 season.
The Broncos got off to a very hot start by taking a 24-0 lead in the second quarter in large part to three touchdowns between Peyton Manning and Julius Thomas. Andrew Luck was able to lead the Colts down the field for a touchdown before halftime, but they still faced a tough task heading into the second half.
