Indianapolis Colts Trim Roster Down by 8 Players

The Indianapolis Colts released eight players today as they inch closer to the start of the regular season.
The most notable cut was kick returner/running back Devin Moore. Moore is from local Ritter High School in Indianapolis and was the starting kick returner last year, but an injury ended his season early.
This preseason, he never was much of a factor.
The other seven to be released were offensive guard Josh Beekman, offensive tackle Casey Bender, wide receiver Joe Horn, defensive back Chip Vaughn, quarterback Mike Hartline, linebacker Cody Glenn and defensive back Mike Newton.
