Indianapolis Colts Punter Pat McAfee in Court Over Public Intoxication Charges

Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was in court Friday for a pretrial hearing relating to his public intoxication charge.

He told the judge that he would like to go with a diversion program. McAfee will undergo the NFL alcohol abuse program. Now, if he is still in compliance at the end of the program, McAfee will go back to court on April 11, 2011 and that will be the end of the incident.

McAfee has to also serve eight hours of community service.

The punter was arrested in October in the notorious public intoxication charges after swimming in the Broad Ripple canal located just north-side of Indianapolis.
