Fantasy Football: Will Reggie Wayne Continue to Thrive?

Last year, Reggie Wayne had his seventh-straight 1000-plus receiving yards streak snapped, thanks to unreliable quarterback play.

Entering the season at 33 years old with a November birthday looming, along with having a rookie quarterback, made a return to elite status seem unlikely.

Through three games, however, he is averaging 7.7 catches and 98.0 yards per game. He only has one touchdown, but has had at least 71 yards receiving each game.

Will Wayne continue to put up big numbers?

I don’t see why he wouldn’t. For starters, he’s being targeted a ton. He is on a bye this week, but currently leads the league with 40 targets.

Only Victor Cruz and Dwayne Bowe join him with more than 35 looks. Clearly Andrew Luck has confidence in Wayne.
