So says Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star.
$14 million is the other relevant number.
No one has ever accused Kravitz of being a homer or overly kind to the Colts, but his defense of the play of Freeney is surprising considering the limited impact the venerable pass-rusher has had.
On one hand, the Colts are 7-4, so you could argue that whatever they've done this season can be defended.
On the other, neither the numbers nor the tape that Kravitz claims exonerate Freeney can be defended.
