Bob Sanders Finished? Report Says Colts Star Will Never Play Again

Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders has been an impact playmaker in the defensive secondary, but only when he has actually been able to get onto the football field and play some ball.

An injury-riddled career has prevented Sanders from ever playing a full 16-game NFL schedule since he was drafted in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft.

According to a report from NFL.com's Mike Lombardi, there is a chance that Sanders may never see the playing field again due to his 2009 injury where he ruptured his bicep tendon, which has now caused issues with both his bicep and shoulder.

Sanders has told the media that he feels great and is ready to go into training camp and play in 2010, but Lombardi says his rehab has been going at a snail's pace.
