A power change occurred last season in the AFC South division. The Houston Texans, who had never been to the playoffs since the birth of their franchise, won the division with a record of 10-6. Nipping at their heels were the surprising Tennessee Titans, who went 9-7 despite a disappointing season from star running back Chris Johnson.
