The Indianapolis Colts [1] (2-2) are heading to the Meadowlands to take on the New York Jets [2] (2-3) in a contest between two AFC teams heading in opposite directions.

Indy is riding a high after an incredible come-from-behind victory over the Green Bay Packers [3], while Gang Green is still trying to overcome the loss of its best player and an inconsistent quarterback.

It should be a real measuring-stick game for both teams that will let their fans evaluate exactly where they stand and what to expect for the rest of the season.

Keep reading to find out where to watch the game, some players that are battling injuries this week, some stars to watch during the contest, a prediction on the final score and much more.

What’s at Stake?

The Colts are going for two wins in a row, while the Jets are trying to see if they can plug their sinking ship and reroute it back towards the postseason.

Both teams have an outside shot at the Wild Card right now, but one will need a lot of “Luck” and the other might need a certain backup QB to come in and replace Mark Sanchez [7].

Regardless of what happens, the winner of this is walking out with much more confidence than it had going in.

Colts Player to Watch: Andrew Luck

The “Suck for Luck” campaign paid off in a big way in Week 5, as the rookie signal-caller led the Colts to a 30-27 upset win over the established Packers.

It’s unlikely that he’ll repeat that performance—going 31-of-55 for 362 yards and two touchdowns—but anything is possible against this lowly Jets team. Without Revis on the field, Luck has little to worry about and can safely throw to Reggie Wayne—a player that saw 20 targets and hauled in 13 receptions for 212 yards and a TD last week.

Jets Player to Watch: Tim Tebow [8]

The Jets’ backup QB is more popular than their starter with the media, and the fans are already clamoring to see if Tebow can help lead their team to the postseason, something that seems impossible with Sanchez under center.

Many expected Tebow to get his shot on Monday Night Football this past week, but the former Denver Bronco managed just one pass attempt (an incompletion) and five rushes (a season high) for 19 yards.

If Sanchez struggles against the Colts, there is a distinct possibility that coach Rex Ryan [9] subs in Tebow to start running the offense before the day is over.

Prediction: Colts 24—Jets 17

Luck will win back-to-back games for the first time in his budding career. His confidence has to be through the roof after he led his team back from a 24-0 deficit in the second half against the Packers.

New York is reeling after losing both Revis and Holmes, and the team is starting to feel the negative effects of publicity that it brought upon itself after trading for Tebow this summer.

It’s going to take Gang Green hitting rock bottom to bring Tebow in to save them, and this is the loss that will make the Jets realize they can’t go anywhere but up.
