Jim Irsay is one of the NFL’s best owners because of his open willingness to the fans.

And right now, the Indianapolis Colts ^[1] appear to be in trade talks after Irsay tweeted ^[2]:

SERIOUS TRADE WINDS Swirling! We’re talking given up high pick for SERIOUS Vet/Starter!.. these deals often crumble n don’t reach completion

Irsay then tweeted ^[3] after:

Colts Fans..Your GM Mr Grigson isn’t afraid to roll the dice n aggressively improve YOUR Indianapolis Colts..n my check book stands ready!

As a fan of any pro football team we have to appreciate Irsay keeping the Colts’ fans “in the know,” so to speak.

To that end, let’s come up with some trades where Indy would get an immediate boost for the 2012 season and beyond.
